Vladimir Kondratovich and his co-authors will present at this week’s International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) in Fort Worth, Texas. Scheduled from July 23-28, 2017 at the Fort Worth Convention Center, the conference theme is International Cooperation for Global Awareness.
“Evaluation of GOES-16 ABI On-Orbit Performance Using GSICS” will be presented during a session entitled, New GEO/LEO Mission Advanced Imagery Products: Optical Sensor Calibration and Applications II that takes place at 4:20 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017 in Room 202A.
Kondratovich is the team lead for the GOES-R Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) Image Navigation and Registration. He supports the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Center for Weather and Climate Prediction in College Park, Maryland. Other ERT personnel among the presentation’s co-authors include Robert Iacovazzi, Xi Shao, and Fangfang Yu.
