ERT today announced the election of Executive Vice President Dr. Mina Samii to the Maryland Space Business Roundtable Board of Directors. MSBR is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving businesses, universities, and individuals in the aerospace and technology sector throughout Maryland and the greater national capital region. One of the organization’s key goals is to inspire the future aerospace workforce by promoting and funding STEM programs. “I am extremely happy and excited to serve on the MSBR board, and to contribute more directly to this organization that I have enjoyed being a member of for several decades,” said Samii.
Dr. Samii’s successful 35-year career in the aerospace industry has included various technical and management roles in areas such as systems engineering, analysis, operations, and scientific and engineering research and development. She successfully led several large federal and commercial programs and contracts; including a multi-billion-dollar federal modernization program, full-scope commercial outsourcing contracts, and large science and engineering programs. Dr. Samii previously served on the boards of Women in Aerospace, the Council for Electronic Return Advancement, and the Department of Energy’s Jefferson Laboratory.
