ERT has been awarded a contract with a brand new agency of NOAA’s National Weather Service: the National Water Center.
The National Water Center (NWC)—located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Silver Spring, Maryland; and Chanhassen, Minnesota—is a new organization with a mission to develop and deliver valued science, software, and information for river and stream forecasts. The overall objective of this contract is to transfer scientific advances in the areas of hydrology, hydrometeorology, and hydraulics from the research arena into operational applications at the NWC and at NWS field offices using a variety of software engineering tools and techniques available within the NWC.
ERT is very pleased to have been chosen to work for this new agency and looks forward to many years of providing excellent support on this contract.
The contract has a one year period of performance with two option years.
