ERT is proud to announce that four of our employees were recently honored with 2014 Team Member of the Year Awards by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Recipients of this peer-nominated award included Rey Marquez, Wendy Morrison, Bob Pagliuco and Craig Thornsberry.
Dr. Jingli Yang, Chief Executive Officer of ERT, and Minna Li, President of TechGlobal, recently presented at the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2015 Mentor Protégé Conference held in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Yang and Ms. Li spoke during a panel session entitled Utilizing 8(a) Mentor Protégé Program Best Practices, sharing their respective viewpoints and expertise regarding benefits and best practices. The two companies, both woman owned minority small businesses, began teaming in 2012 and signed their Mentor Protégé Agreement in 2013.

ERT is pleased to announce that five of its scientific personnel have authored papers and are presenting them at this week’s 2015 Annual Science Team Meeting, organized by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Center for Satellite Applications and Research (STAR). In addition, Ken Carey, ERT’s Vice President, Science and Engineering Business Units, is a member of the organizing committee who will serve as a session co-chair.
ERT has been awarded a multiple award task order contract under the Multiple Award Military Munitions Services II (MAMMS II) contract. ERT was one of nine companies awarded a contract and is very proud to be the only small business to win contracts on both MAMMS and the MAMMS II follow-on, attesting to our track record of highly successful support of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

We are excited to announce that our donation to the University of Maryland’s fellowship and student travel program benefitted multiple students in the Department of Geographical Sciences. Our contribution provided a summer fellowship for Ph.D. student Dan-Xia Song and helped to enable other students to perform field work in China.
ERT has been awarded the Software Development and Software Operations & Maintenance Requirements contract for the NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Office of the Assistant Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has a significant number of Geographic Information Service (GIS) users across the agency using a range of software applications. These critical mapping software and services are used to meet NOAA’s operational and mission requirements for geospatial data creation and analysis, GIS mapping activities, decision-support tool development, and managing operational system applications.
The Fishery Resource Analysis and Monitoring (FRAM) Division of NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service collects and analyzes information on the approximately 90 groundfish species regulated under the Pacific Fishery Management Council's Groundfish Fishery Management Plan. The FRAM Division has collects data on West Coast groundfish and their habitats and looks at the economic impact of both commercial and recreational fishing.

ERT has been awarded the IT Mission Support Services Contract to provide the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) with operations and maintenance services for archive data management in Silver Spring, MD and coastal data stewardship services Stennis Space Center, MS.

On this task, ERT will provide system analysis and software engineering support for the design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation of the AWIPS functionality.

ERT has been performing Remedial Investigation and response actions at Fort Hancock since 2009.
