Hydrography, Remote Science, and Related On-line Communications and Education Support: The Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (OER), located within NOAA’s Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research, is responsible for coordinating interdisciplinary ocean exploration expeditions and projects to search, investigate, and document unknown and poorly known areas of the ocean in order to advance and disseminate knowledge of the ocean environment and its physical, chemical, biological, and historical resources.
ERT has been selected by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Office of Sustainable Fisheries (OSF) to provide operations and maintenance support services for the National Fishing Permits and Landings Reporting System (NFPLRS). ERT will host, operate, and maintain several Web sites associated with the system including those for public and administrative use, inquiry, and fulfillment.
In November 2012, the Department of Energy (DOE) and its National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) awarded ERT, as an E-TESSA team member, an Enterprise-wide Technical, Engineering, and Programmatic Support Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)
ERT has been awarded a new blanket purchase agreement against ERT’s MOBIS contract to serve NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS)’s Office of Science and Technology (ST). The ST is responsible for coordinating science programs at the national level and across the regional NOAA Fisheries Science Centers and Regional Offices.
ERT has been awarded a task to provide project support services to the Office of Coast Survey (OCS). OCS is the nation’s nautical chart maker, collecting, managing, and compiling the data and information necessary to maintain the national suite of 1,000 nautical charts. The resulting coastal maps and vector shoreline series and historic maps and charts support commercial shipping, the fishing industry, U.S. Navy and Coast Guard operations, state and local governments, GIS users, and recreational boaters throughout the United States.
ERT has been awarded the Sensor Science and Technology Applications contract by NOAA National Environmental Satellite Data Information Service’s (NESDIS) Center for Satellite Applications and Research (STAR). The contract, with a potential value of $21 million over five years, was awarded using our SciTech II contract vehicle. Ken Carey has been selected to serve as the Program Manager for this effort.
In September, ERT was awarded the NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Environmental, Scientific, Technical and other Mission Support Services contract through our NOAA SciTech vehicle. This includes three tasks valued at $60M, including technical and management support for more than 200 individual environmental restoration and conservation projects nationwide. This contract directly supports the NOAA Office of Habitat Conservation (OHC).
ERT today announced it has been awarded an Operations Technical Support Services (OPSTECH) contract by the National Weather Service (NWS), as a member of the team led by INNOVIM, LLC. The contract has a potential value of $140 million over five years.
ERT, Inc. today announced that it is on a winning team of the Chief Information Officer – Solutions Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) contract for IT solutions and services. The contract was awarded to Hygeia Solutions Partners, a joint venture of four healthcare and IT services firms, of which ERT is a member. The indefinite delivery indefinite quantity government-wide acquisition contract has a period of performance of 10 years and a ceiling of $20 billion.
ERT Wins Contract to Deliver Safety, Environmental, and Medical Support Services to NASA Ames Research CenterMay 11, 2012
ERT has been awarded a $55 million, five-year NASA Ames Research Center contract to provide safety, environmental and medical support services (SEMSS). “We are very excited about this new contract win at NASA Ames Research Center. It expands our NASA customer base and broadens our environmental service experience,” said Dr. Jingli Yang, ERT chief executive officer.
ERT, Inc. today announced Mina Samii, PhD as the company’s senior vice president and chief operating officer, starting on April 2, 2012. She joins ERT following a 30 year career with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) where she most recently served as the vice president and general manager of the Business Services Division in the North America Public Sector.
