NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC) is responsible for the quality assurance and integrity of scientific activity, including the quality and credibility for scientific information. The NWFSC studies living marine resources (e.g., salmon, groundfish, and killer whales) and their habitats in the Northeast Pacific Ocean, primarily off the coast of Washington and Oregon and in freshwater rivers and streams in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.
The Scientific Data Management Team and Fish Ecology Division develop and support new applications and maintain more than a dozen custom-built applications for a variety of customers. ERT will provide expertise and services including application development and maintenance of scientific applications for SDM and FED mission projects related to NMFS scientific, educational, regulatory, and policy making.
The Scientific Data Management contract has a three year period of performance with a potential value of $2.5M.
