On July 6, ERT was notified that we have been awarded the Blossom Point Research Facility Remedial Investigation task order bid under our Baltimore District Army Corps of Engineers Multiple Award Military Munitions (MAMMS) contract.
ERT has been contracted to perform a remedial investigation to include three munitions response sites located within the facility and in the adjacent Potomac River. ERT will be responsible for determining the nature and extent of munitions and explosives of concern (MEC), munitions debris (MD) and munitions constituents (MC) contamination in the three areas and presenting remediation strategies and options for their cleanup.
The Blossom Point facility is located in Blossom Point, MD and is a part of the U.S. Army Garrison Adelphi Laboratory Center (USAG ALC). The task is expected to take two years to complete.
“This is a nice win for us,” said Peter Li, ERT President. “This win is a reflection of ERT’s strength in military munitions response projects and our marine geophysical capability.”
